There are instances of repetition in language called tautologies, some of them used in a humorous manner, others just to underline certain things. But the needless repetition of an idea is mostly not that glamorous or well intented, it’s plain stupid. And apparently our world has many signs that contain such miscues. So sometimes you wonder, do they think we’re that stupid or are they just preparing for a world in which stupidity is a standard?
